Colt Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

Colt Recycling at PGM of Texas is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Shipping and receiving Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department and work on the de-manufacturing line. This role requires a fast learner with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a unique environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the shipping and receiving team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Manage inventory control and ensure proper documentation and labeling of products.
  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
  • Perform tasks on the de-manufacturing line, including disassembling products and sorting materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize computer systems to track shipments, inventory, and production data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with de-manufacturing or similar processes.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts with a valid forklift certification.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to [specific weight, e.g., 50 pounds].
  • Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.

Pay Rate:

Starting pay $25/ hour

Hours:

8 hour shift, Monday through Friday.

7AM CST – 4:00PM CST.
